When I went on my first date with my boyfriend (now my husband of 27 years) he didn't know how to pronounce my name, so he just said 'hey you" all night. I used to think that having an unusual name like I do was a pain, but over the years I have been told so many times how pretty it is that I have grown to appreciate being different. |
