I was named after Risė Stevens because my parents loved her name.

As a child, I didn't like my name because it didn't seem like a child's name. I changed it when I was four (to another unusual name: Flower Vanilla). When I was 11 years old, I felt I had grown into my name and started using it again. Now I love it and get many compliments on it.

I found this site when searching Web sites for information about Risė Stevens and the origin of her name.
