Christened "Teresa", I have been called "reesa" all my life. I always thought my mother made up the unique spelling...that is until I discovered the Reesa Society! When I moved from California to New England, people could not accept calling me "reesa". So I went by "Terie". To this day, my friends are sorted by region on how they address me.

I once asked a movie star for an autograph, and he flubbed my name several times.
